My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gumbo: Your Perfect Feline Companion!

Are you searching for a furry friend who embodies warmth, affection, and a hearty appetite? Look no further than Gumbo! This charming brown tabby male, neutered and diligently kept up-to-date on all vaccinations, is eagerly waiting to become the heart of your home.

Gumbo's endearing nature knows no bounds. He thrives on human interaction, relishing every opportunity for cuddles, playtime, and those delightful moments of companionship that only a cat can offer. Whether you're seeking a cuddle buddy for lazy afternoons or a playful pal to brighten up your days, Gumbo fits the bill perfectly.

Born approximately on 3-6-21, Gumbo's early life might have been uncertain, but his resilient spirit shines through. Despite his humble beginnings as a stray, he's proven himself to be a treasure trove of love and affection. Now, he's ready to share that love with a forever family who will cherish him as he deserves.

Applications for Gumbo's adoption can be conveniently found online at eastshoreha.org. Once your application is approved, our dedicated staff will promptly reach out to you to arrange a meet-and-greet session. This is your chance to welcome Gumbo into your life and discover firsthand the joy and love he brings to any household.

Don't miss out on the opportunity to make Gumbo a cherished member of your family. Apply now, and let Gumbo's purrs and playful antics fill your home with happiness and love!

Additional adoption info

Before You Adopt: Please consider these factors before filling out an application:

1. Animals are expensive to care for. They require food, shelter, toys, grooming, and veterinary health and dental care.

2. Animals require attention. You have to clean up after their messes, protect them from anything that might harm them, and make sure they get adequate play time and exercise. Some require training, which takes patience, love, and commitment.

Adopting a Friend: Adopter will fill out an application to start the adoption process. We don't adopt on a first come, first served basis, but instead adopt based on what we feel is in the animal's best interest. We DO NOT ship animals.

Adoption Requirements:

1. Have verifiable identification

2. Be at least 18 years of age

3. If renting, have landlords consent to bring a pet to your home

4. All adopted pets must be spayed or neutered

5. All pets must leave the shelter on a collar and leash, or in a pet carrier

6. Agree to all terms of the adoption contract; ESHA reserves the right to deny any application
