Adopt Maverick!We cannot believe we are still hanging onto this stunning, unbelievably sweet gentle boy.

This handsome Weimaraner is about 4-5 years old and quite the catch he joined us from a shelter partner where he learned being brave meant quickly winning their hearts. Maverick loves being outside and would love some space to run or an adopter who enjoys fresh air like he does! He knows basic commands and has been working on polishing them up with foster dad. Maverick is a mix of play; hes over the “young energetic dog” phase but still enjoys some toy time.

Maverick has done well with dogs and loves being with people. Although he is timid natured at first, he warms up and loves neck rubs and nuzzling you. He has done well with children and could potientially live with a dog savvy cat with slow introduction and ability to separate.

Noah's Ark Rescue Project and Sanctuary (NARPS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization which is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need, as well as educating the public on important issues, and implementing low cost vaccination and sterilization clinics. Our goal is to address vital contributing factors which lead to the overpopulation of domesticated pets. Overbreeding and overpopulation directly affects the number of animals who find themselves in shelters and in need of rescuing. NARPS is currently operating mainly as a foster based program, with ambitions to eventually have a facility to house for our rescues. We are not a breed or species specific rescue, At NARPS, big & small, hooves & paws, we rescue them all!
