My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**This is a courtesy post for Frosted Faces Vintage Paws Rescue**
Say hello to Hope! Hope is an approximately four-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix. She was originally taken in from the county shelter back in 2021. Hope has a lot of energy and would love to find an active and fun family. She LOVES little dogs and will excitedly prance around when she meets a new one. Hope is looking for another dog in her new home that she can play and rough-house with. In fact, Hope loves other dogs so much, that we are requiring she go home with one, in order to help her adjust to her new environment. Hope is leash-trained and knows "sit" for a treat. Hope will require a secure yard/fence, as she has been known to escape. Are you ready to meet Hope? Email chitownrescue@gmail.com for more info!

More about this rescue

"Chi Town" is short for "Chihuahua Town," which is our nick-name because we found that the majority of animals we were rescuing happened to be Chihuahuas and literally have a little “town” comprised of Chihuahuas! Chihuahuas are one of the most over-bred dogs in Arizona and unfortunately many end up in need of rescue. However, we are not limited to saving just Chihuahas, we do save other breeds dependent on availability of space. Chi Town also specializes in rescuing dogs who require a little extra TLC and are at risk of euthanasia at county shelters. These dogs may not be doing well for a variety of reasons- fear, fear aggression, anxiety, or a medical issue to name a few. These are the dogs that typically have no other outlet and for which time is of the essence . After our dogs are medically cleared and/or their behavioral issues have improved, they are available for adoption.

Please be aware that we do our very best to answer all questions in a timely manner.

We are always seeking to help promote these special Chihuahuas who are too often overlooked in AZ shelters due to the sheer volume of this breed. Please share and like us on Facebook:
