My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bellamy (aka Bella) is an adorably sweet and playful female Jack Russell Terrier mix weighing 26lbs. We are estimating her to be around 1 1/2yo.  Although she is a young girl, she already knows quite a few commands including sit, sit pretty, down, crawl and speak. She is treat motivated, very smart, and is quick to learn. Bellamy loves her chew toys and stronger chew toys are a must because she will destroy a stuffie. She is house trained and sleeps quietly in her crate all night but certainly loves a good snooze on a comfy bed or snuggling up with you on the couch. She walks moderately well on a leash, loves car rides, the outdoors, all people young and old, loves all dogs but would be too energetic for senior dogs. Bellamy was introduced to cats on leash and seemed interested with tail wags. Bellamy would do best in a home with another playful dog around her size or larger, and an active family who can take her on many adventures and keep her mind stimulated with enrichment toy and games. She will need space to run outdoors so a secure, fenced-iin yard is a must. She is light heart worm positive and is currently on the slow-kill method, which doesn't change her activities. Heart worm is contracted from the bite of an infected mosquito and can not be transferred to another pet. If you believe you have the perfect home for Bellamy and live in the Central Florida/Orlando area, please submit an application and tell us more about your family. She is ready to meet her fur-ever family.
