Meet Rowan… A sweet boy, looking for his new leash on life. Rowan is a 3 yo hound terrier mix, who is energetic, smart and fun-loving, He is housebroken and lived a large part of the last year of his life in a crate, so would prefer to sleep in one only if he has to. He has lived with children and just wants to be with people and be loved on. He would make a great jogging partner or hiking buddy, because he loves to explore and see all of what nature has to offer. He is a strong boy and is doing well working on his leash manners, and would like somebody who can continue his training. He is dog and cat friendly, and with a proper introduction he could succeed as a new member of the pack. Get ready for Rowan to steal your heart ❤️

We ask all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application which allows us to check certain points of reference (vets, home ownership status, previous pets, etc). If the application looks good, the adopter signs the adoption contract which states, among other things, the animal(s) will have a permanent home with said adopter and if for any reason this becomes impossible, the animal must be returned to Four Legs Good. Four Legs Good reserves the right to place a follow-up phone call or visit, with notice, within the first year of adoption.

Four Legs Good is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing the most humane treatment of Rockland County animals in need. We started as a small group of dedicated volunteers who decided to make a difference in the lives of feral, homeless and abandoned animals. We are currently working out of the RG CARES Animal Shelter.
