Meet Roe! This girl is full of energy and spends her evenings playing and stealing toys from her foster brother. Roe is fully house trained and sleeps through the night in her kennel without a peep. She’s learning to walk on a leash but a backyard would be ideal as she loves to explore and run the whole yard! She is highly motivated for treats and often runs to her kennel when she sees the treat bag out. She knows how to sit, and is working on stay and down. Roe is a flexible gal but would do great with another fur dog friend who loves to play.
House trained: yes
Leash trained: no but learning quickly
Kennel trained: yes
Rides well in a car: yes
Good with other dogs: yes
Good with cats: Briefly met a cat on-leash and had a strong desire to chase
Good with young children (under 10): Has not been around them but we think she'd do well with dog-savvy kids
Shy or confident: Shy- shy around strangers, confident after introductions.
Barks: no
Apartment qualified: no
Health concerns or special needs: currently on a C/D diet for a previous UTI. May not need to continue in the future.
