My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Marnie: A Survivor Ready for Love

Marnie's story is one of resilience and hope. Rescued from a challenging hoarding situation where over 18 cats were saved, Marnie has emerged as a shining example of strength and grace. Now, she's ready to embark on a new journey-one filled with love, warmth, and the companionship of a caring human family.

Having been spayed and brought up-to-date on all her vaccinations, Marnie is fully prepared to find her forever home. Born approximately on October 2nd, 2022, she's at the perfect age to become a beloved member of your family.

While Marnie is open to sharing her home with other feline companions, she thrives best in an environment with older children. She may feel nervous around smaller children, so a calm and understanding household would be ideal for her to flourish and feel secure.

Marnie's gentle demeanor and loving heart make her the perfect addition to any family seeking a loyal and devoted companion. If you're ready to open your heart and home to Marnie, we invite you to apply online at eastshoreha.org. Once your application is approved, our compassionate staff will be in touch to arrange a meet-and-greet session, where you can welcome Marnie into your life and experience the joy of unconditional love.

Don't let Marnie wait any longer for her forever home. Take the first step in making her dreams come true by applying online today. Together, you'll create a bond that will last a lifetime, filled with love, comfort, and endless companionship.

Additional adoption info

Before You Adopt: Please consider these factors before filling out an application:

1. Animals are expensive to care for. They require food, shelter, toys, grooming, and veterinary health and dental care.

2. Animals require attention. You have to clean up after their messes, protect them from anything that might harm them, and make sure they get adequate play time and exercise. Some require training, which takes patience, love, and commitment.

Adopting a Friend: Adopter will fill out an application to start the adoption process. We don't adopt on a first come, first served basis, but instead adopt based on what we feel is in the animal's best interest. We DO NOT ship animals.

Adoption Requirements:

1. Have verifiable identification

2. Be at least 18 years of age

3. If renting, have landlords consent to bring a pet to your home

4. All adopted pets must be spayed or neutered

5. All pets must leave the shelter on a collar and leash, or in a pet carrier

6. Agree to all terms of the adoption contract; ESHA reserves the right to deny any application
