My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Personality:
Bonita is a stunning black cat with a heart as beautiful as her coat. Despite facing a difficult circumstance when her owner lost their home, Bonita has remained resilient and full of love. She's described as playful and sweet, ready to shower her affection on whoever is lucky enough to welcome her into their home.

Background:
Bonita was surrendered due to her owner's housing situation, but now she's on the lookout for her forever family. With her spaying complete and vaccinations up to date, she's all set to start her new chapter.

Ideal Home:
Bonita is seeking a loving forever home where she can bask in the warmth of a caring human companion. She's the perfect lap cat, ready to cuddle up and enjoy some quality time with her new family. Whether it's playing with toys or lounging in the sun, Bonita will bring joy and companionship to any household lucky enough to have her.

Ready for Adoption:
If you're ready to open your heart and home to Bonita, we encourage you to apply online at eastshoreha.org. Once your application is approved, our staff will be in touch to arrange a meet and greet so you can visit Bonita in person. Don't miss out on the opportunity to welcome this lovely feline into your life!

Adoption Process:
Please note that we operate by approved application and scheduled appointments to ensure the best match between our cats and their potential adopters. Apply today and take the first step towards giving Bonita the loving forever home she deserves. Your kindness and compassion can make all the difference in this sweet cat's life.

Additional adoption info

Before You Adopt: Please consider these factors before filling out an application:

1. Animals are expensive to care for. They require food, shelter, toys, grooming, and veterinary health and dental care.

2. Animals require attention. You have to clean up after their messes, protect them from anything that might harm them, and make sure they get adequate play time and exercise. Some require training, which takes patience, love, and commitment.

Adopting a Friend: Adopter will fill out an application to start the adoption process. We don't adopt on a first come, first served basis, but instead adopt based on what we feel is in the animal's best interest. We DO NOT ship animals.

Adoption Requirements:

1. Have verifiable identification

2. Be at least 18 years of age

3. If renting, have landlords consent to bring a pet to your home

4. All adopted pets must be spayed or neutered

5. All pets must leave the shelter on a collar and leash, or in a pet carrier

6. Agree to all terms of the adoption contract; ESHA reserves the right to deny any application
