My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Burger King is a sweet 1-1/2 year old male Labrador Retriever mix who was brought to the HSOV on March 26, 2024 by the Washington County Ohio Dog Warden who had picked up on Thomas Street (off Washington Boulevard) in Belpre Ohio. Burger King was not wearing a collar, and he was not microchipped.

This handsome boy has a brown short smooth coat with a large white bib on his chest, white paws, a long tail, and an adorable face with dark brown eyes, cute wrinkles on his forehead, a liver-colored nose on his long slender muzzle, and short semi-erect ears.

Burger King appears to have a friendly personality.

These photos of Burger King were taken in his kennel shortly after closing time on March 26th. He responded to a soft conversations of 'sweet nothings' and hearing what a good boy he was. Our kennel techs noted that he tended to be a 'door dasher', and he did seem to come running to the front of his kennel for attention.

Burger King weighs 40 lbs, and he has not been neutered.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Burger King will be held for three days so that his family will have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership.
