My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Romeo is quite a unique friend, he is missing almost all his teeth. When he was younger he had a bad case of stomatitis and to give him a pain-free life we had all his teeth (except his canines) removed. Now this may sound concerning for Romeo's future but it is not! He eats dry food perfectly fine now that all the painful teeth are taken out. This boy has never let his mouth stop him, he loves food, and that is an understatement. On top of being a foodie, he loves to play with all sorts of toys and laser pointers. He is a very active cat and enjoys all sorts of interactions with other cats and dogs.

Meet the pet/Interview stage where a owner is to meet the pet and sit down with the coordinator and answer questions

Sign Adoption Contract

Once approved contract can be signed and pet goes home

We specifically look to see if their other pets are properly cared for by requesting records from veterinarians

Go meet their pets

Since we don't have a single physical location we do meet and greets by appointment only. Our meet and greets will be held at a local vet clinic in Colleyville where you will get to meet the kittens you selected to see.

More about this rescue

Rainbow Kitten Rescue is an independent rescue based out of Dallas Texas, just a passionate vet tech looking to give back to the community. Our goal is to take some of the strain off shelters and larger rescues, helping wherever we can. I advocate for spaying/neuter and will occasionally assist with TNVR but we are mainly here as a foster home to help kittens adjust to new lives eventually. We provide a dog and cat-filled home to ensure our fosters are comfortable with all types of pets. We love our adopters with canine friends!
