My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our beloved Teddy, who captured the hearts of many, is officially up for adoption! Thanks to all of you, Teddy received the care he deserved after coming to us with a large neck wound from an embedded collar and a body full of mange. This sweet boy we think was tossed out and meant to be forgotten, but he found his way into our lives, showing us the power of resilience and love. Teddy proved to be a true gentleman, and incredibly sweet who enjoyed all the cuddles at the shelter. He deserved so much more and we sought out a foster home for him, and thankfully, we found one filled with love and understanding.
Here's what Teddy's foster family has to say about him:
Teddy Ruxpin is a sweet and good natured 4 year old pit mix with a lot of love to give. Not a lot is known about his past other than he was neglected and left with mange, which is heartbreaking. Now that he’s healing physically and emotionally, his personality and zest for life shows through. He enjoys walks, romps in the yard, snuggles on the couch, his blanket, chewing his bone and or toys. He’s a very laid back boy, but sometimes has bursts of energy. Fetch and zoomies around the yard help him thrive. Teddy is very affectionate but is still learning to trust. He is treat/food driven so potty training and all other training has been going pretty darn well. He seems interested in children and other dogs. He’s not a big barker which is a plus. He’s still learning his manners and doing well with leash training. He doesn’t pull too hard or too much. His most favorite thing is peanut butter in his kong. This is a treat we have found very helpful with crate training. He’s become very comfortable with the crate when we work, sleep, etc.
‼️Please note, Teddy’s adoption is NOT on a first come, first served basis. If you are interested, please email us at euclidpetpals2@yahoo.com for the prescreening questionnaire ‼️
