My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bieber is a cute 3-1/2 year old male Beagle mix who was surrendered by his family on March 24, 2024.

This little sweetheart has a white-and-tan short smooth coat, a short tail, and a precious Beagle face with beautiful dark brown eyes, a dark chocolate nose, a slender muzzle, and large floppy ears. His left ear is white with tan spots while his right ear is tan.

His family told us that Bieber is good with children and also with other dogs. He has been kept indoors and will 'door dash' when he sees an opportunity. Bieber is frightened of riding in a car, being alone, and thunderstorms.

Bieber was adopted from HSOV in 2021 but was returned because he was a little too energetic and because he had issues when his family attempted to take 'people food' away from him ..which we need to explain:

Bieber shared his home with a special-needs child who (like his entire family) loved Bieber very much .. And that sweet child loved to share his food with Bieber which created a situation since Beiber did not want to give up his treasured people food once it was in his possession ... And the child couldn't understand why he shouldn't share his food with Bieber. So for the safety of everyone involved, his family made the heartbreaking decision to return him and let us find him another loving home.

Bieber has an affectionate personality and loves attention. He was a pleasure to photograph on the afternoon of March 25th when HSOV Lead Canine Kennel Tech Jared Nash accompanied him for outdoor photos. Bieber looked to Jared for guidance and seemed to instinctively know that Jared was a 'genuine good guy' whom he trusted to give him the care and attention he wanted so badly.

Bieber is a petite boy who weighs 20 lbs.

Since Bieber has already been neutered, he could leave our shelter with his new family immediately with an approved HSOV adoption application.
