Milo von Belle is an adorable 11 week old Shepherd mix puppy. This handsome, kind pup has everyone he meets smitten! He loves putting himself down for a nap in his crate, never bothers his foster senior sister dog, knows his sit command and is working on “stay” and “come.” He tends to follow his brother Levi’s lead for playtime and will steal your heart with his adorable head tilts. Milo also will be your cooking buddy as he lays down in the kitchen as you prepare a meal or will sit by your side adorably as you load the dishwasher. He is a mellow boy who likes to relax but will lick you with all his love if you let him. He would do well as a solo dog, or ideally with another home with a dog. He has always been around young children and is currently fostered in a home with a 2 and 5 year old. Good with cats.
Milo von Belle is in a foster home, offsite, and is NOT at our rescue location in Los Angeles.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN Milo von Belle YOU MUST FILL OUT AN APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE: www.sheprescue.org
Based on our experience, Westside's current thinking is to usually match first-time shepherd owners with a mix versus a purebred shepherd. Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog. If you have doubts, get a second opinion from Robin or another experienced counselor.

In order to adopt any dog from Westside German Shepherd Rescue, one must fill out an adoption application first. Upon receipt of your application, a Westside adoption counselor will contact you.We do aerial home checks and you may be asked to supply pictures as well as arranging for a home visit prior to adoption.
Adoption fees vary with each dog and typically range from $150 to $500. They are set, taking into account the dog's age, training level, temperament, if they’re newly arrived, medical condition(s) (if any) and other factors. Adoption fees are used not only to rescue and place the dog you are personally adopting, but to aid in the future rescue and rehabilitation of other deserving dogs. Adoption fees are necessary; without fees, our rescue efforts would quickly come to an end. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, and up-to-date vaccinations.
