My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blue is a lovely dilute calico who has shown so much courage during her time at the shelter. For a cat, the shelter can be overwhelming—but Blue has been making the best of it, taking everything in stride and showing us just how resilient and sweet she really is.

She’s a true foodie at heart—wet food is her absolute favorite, and she’ll happily try to convince you she hasn’t had her serving yet (spoiler: she probably has!). Blue came to us carrying a little extra weight, but with patience and care, she’s on a healthy path now, making steady progress in her weight-loss journey. Her enthusiasm for mealtime is contagious, and it’s hard not to smile when she’s excited for her dish.

Blue has her favorite people among the staff, and honestly, don’t we all have our “favorites” in life? With those she trusts, she’s affectionate, loyal, and deeply endearing. She also enjoys the company of other cats and would do well in a home with a gentle feline friend.

Because Blue is still learning to fully relax, she would thrive in a quiet, low-traffic home where she can take her time to decompress and feel safe. With patience, love, and consistency, Blue will no doubt continue to blossom into the amazing companion we already see her becoming.

She’s ready to trade in the noise of the shelter for a cozy forever home—one where her gentle personality, her love of food, and her sweet heart can truly shine.
