Here's what the humans have to say about me:
** If you are interested in adopting Evie, please fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ **
Our sweet and beautiful Evie couldn't be more loving no matter how hard she tried. Evie is a gorgeous, purebred Yellow Lab, and she sure has every trait that shows that! Evie is 5 years old and a thick girl, (at about 68 lbs) that is just waiting to be the love of someone's life.
Evie found herself in a small shelter in Abilene, Texas after her owner passed away. Farfel's was reached out to to help this sweet girl, and we couldn't be happier to find Evie a forever home.
From Evie's foster:

"Evie is so perfect!! She is so so friendly (such a Lab!) and just perfect. She knows how to "sit", "shake", and she is potty trained.
She walks well on leash, and rides great in the car. She loves making friends with people and other dogs, and pup-cups are her favorite.
She is a lazy girl, which has been great because she's NOT high-energy."

Farfel's Rescue feels that Evie will be a wonderful best friend for active retirees or a younger family that enjoys including a fuzzy little dog in their activities. She will be overjoyed with the time spent and togetherness, becoming with time, a loyal best friend and a very important member of the family.
We would love to see Evie in a home that includes her in family time and activities (and some couch-time with belly rubs and loving words would be perfect!).
Evie has been fully vetted, is in great health, up to date on her vaccines, and spayed.
Farfel's Rescue is a fully foster based rescue, and offers a one week trial with every adoption. We feel that this is much more beneficial to not only the dog, but the adopter too. We believe that only getting 20-30 minutes with a dog before deciding on a lifetime commitment is not a fair amount of time to the adopter, or the dog. Therefore we give adopters one week with the dog to assure it is the right fit, and offer a full refund of their adoption fee should it not workout within the week trial.
Farfel's Rescue has been doing adoptions this way since 2005 and is thrilled to adopt out ~400 dogs each year.
