My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Bonnie, and I'm a 5-month-old Anatolian Shepherd mix looking for my forever home!

When my foster family first met me, I was scared and timid. However, with patience and love, I've slowly started to come out of my shell. I'm a real sweetheart once you get to know me! While I may take a little time to warm up to new people, I absolutely adore attention, though I prefer to initiate it myself.

I've been having a blast playing with my foster family's dog, and I have a special knack for gathering up all his toys! However, I'm still getting used to the idea of going for walks on a leash. My fosters are helping me work on this by introducing me to a harness, but it's still a bit of a learning process for me.

Potty training is also a work in progress, but I'm eager to learn and please my humans. I promise to try my best!

Despite my initial shyness, I am incredibly affectionate and just want to be loved. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will always be by your side, I'm your girl!

Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
