My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Opening up your life to a dog who needs a home is one of the most fulfilling things you can do."The family who gives Patrick a home will be so blessed with his company!

Patrick is as sweet as he is handsome, and that is saying a lot! His tri color coat is beautifully marked and just stunning! Patrick has such presence! He is three years old and weighs 51 pounds. If you want to adopt a medium sized dog, he could be the one!

Patrick is a great walking companion and we love having him close by our side. He would be a fine hiking or running buddy, too.

He loves to run and play in the fenced yard and we enjoy seeing him have so much fun.

He really enjoys being around people and is always ready for a pet and a cuddle. Patrick has such a congenial, good natured personality.

Patrick has had the best time in play groups with his fellow shelter dogs. If you have another canine companion, we do require a meet and greet to ensure compatibility.

He has done so well with the children of our volunteers.

Patrick is a bright dog who will sit on command and should be easy to train.

He will be such a fun family dog!

More about this shelter

Cheatham County Animal Control is committed to finding good homes for the animals that come into the shelter system. We work with rescues and adopters. We are a no kill shelter but we rely on people coming in to adopt!

All of our cats/dogs receive vaccinations that are appropriate for the age and health when they are at animal control. We also spay and neuter all of our animals. The adopter is responsible for all vaccinations and medical care after adoption.
