My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Libby is a Patient Paw, please ask about their reduced adoption fee!**

Meet Libby, the delightful Lionhead mix rabbit ready to find her forever home! With her fluffy mane and playful spirit, Libby is sure to steal your heart.

Libby's ideal home includes a spacious pen where she can hop around freely and a cozy area for resting. Her diet should consist of fresh hay, leafy greens, and high-quality pellets to keep her healthy and happy.

Libby loves to run and explore, making her a perfect candidate for free roam enrichment. With appropriate bunny-proofing, she could be a free roam rabbit all the time, enjoying the freedom to roam and play as she pleases.

As a Lionhead mix, Libby requires regular grooming to keep her fur in tip-top shape. Brushing her mane and checking her nails will help prevent mats and keep her comfortable.

Ready to welcome Libby into your home? She can't wait to bring joy and cuddles to her new family!

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
