My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jack, the charming rabbit who's looking for a patient and experienced forever home! Jack is a bit shy but is slowly warming up to people and discovering his surroundings. He would thrive in a calm environment with experienced rabbit owners who understand his needs.

For Jack's happiness, provide a spacious rabitat with cozy spots for him to retreat to when feeling unsure. His diet should consist of hay, fresh veggies, and a measured amount of pellets daily. Enrich his life with free roam time, but ensure your home is bunny proofed with covered wires, safe hiding spots, and removed hazards.

Are you ready to give Jack the loving and patient home he deserves? Adopt Jack today and watch him blossom into a confident and happy bunny!

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
