Weight: I weigh approximately 69 pounds.

More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jul 26, 2023.

Noodle is a super smart cookie! This girl is a certified guardian dog expert. We think she would live her best life on a farm getting to do what she knows best. She was friendly when meeting another dog her size. She would love a calm, easy going family to give her a task to do. We are recommending she go into a home with children 15 years and older. We are recommending her new family have some sort of livestock guarding dog experience.

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
