My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Feona! Feona is an adoptable Poodle mix, approximately two-years-old and weighing 20 pounds. Feona has quite the interesting story. She was running around in an industrial lot near Chi Town Rescue. The rescue owner had been trying to catch her since SEPTEMBER of last year. Finally, in February... success! Feona was matted and dirty and we immediately took her to a volunteer groomer. This cutie sure does clean up nice, and we were happy to finally see Feona's adorable and soulful eyes. Feona was not microchipped or wearing a collar, and no owner has claimed her from lost/found posts. That means we will help Feona find her forever family, through Chi Town! Feona is a shy lady, but not feral by any means. She will do best in a patient home that is secure, so Feona does not escape while she is still so fearful. She will need a family willing to allow her time to warm up on her own terms. Feona does allow all handling and pets, but her initial reaction is to avoid/run away. Feona does well with other dogs and a dog in her new home may help her to warm up faster. Are you interested in meeting this cutie and possibly giving her the home she deserves, after so long out on the streets? Email us at: chitownrescue@gmail.com for more info/meet and greet appointment.

Feona's adoption fee includes spay, microchip, and up to date vaccinations.
