Nova is a fluffy little friend of about a year old that would positively love to go back to a great home. He is with us due to his owner losing their home, unfortunately. Nova has been raised right and is a happy, well-socialized little guy. He lived with another guinea pig who he interacted with, but he was always housed separately. He'd be fine with another male piggy-pal if you have one. Nova loves getting attention and he's perfectly content to be held. He coos when you pet him and loves zooming around, squeaking and checking things out. There's not a thing about little Nova you won't love! We require a completed adoption application which can be obtained at our facility, or from our website: www.ahscares.org. We also require proof of home ownership if you own, or a copy of a lease stating that pets are allowed with no restrictions if you rent. We require vet records for any pets owned in the last five years as well. Our adoption fees vary based on age, breed, etc. Please call our facility for exact fee 609-693-1900.

More about this shelter

The mission of the Associated Humane Societies, Inc., including Popcorn Park Zoo, is to consistently provide the highest quality of care to all animals, domestic and wildlife, including their rescue, housing, veterinary care, placement whenever possible, and when required, a peaceful end. It is also our mission to prevent cruelty to all animals, primarily in New Jersey, but also throughout the United States. This shall be done through direct intervention as well as the promotion of humane education regarding the proper care and treatment of animals at both public and private levels, thereby advancing the humane treatment of animals everywhere.
