Sunny D is an adorable little poof of a piggy of just a year old that is hoping you'll welcome him into your life. Sunny had a good home but unfortunately, his owner lost their home so Sunny is in need of a fresh start. He's a super sweet little guy that is so happy to be held, petted, and to make new friends. Sunny D has zero shyness about him and he's eager to check out new things and get a sniff of anything he can wiggle his nose at. He coos when he's happy and he's active and outgoing too. Sunny would likely be fine with another male guinea pig if introduced slowly and not immediately housed together. Sunny D will make your life all the brighter if you let him! We require a completed adoption application which can be obtained at our facility, or from our website: www.ahscares.org. We also require proof of home ownership if you own, or a copy of a lease stating that pets are allowed with no restrictions if you rent. We require vet records for any pets owned in the last five years as well. Our adoption fees vary based on age, breed, etc. Please call our facility for exact fee 609-693-1900.

The mission of the Associated Humane Societies, Inc., including Popcorn Park Zoo, is to consistently provide the highest quality of care to all animals, domestic and wildlife, including their rescue, housing, veterinary care, placement whenever possible, and when required, a peaceful end. It is also our mission to prevent cruelty to all animals, primarily in New Jersey, but also throughout the United States. This shall be done through direct intervention as well as the promotion of humane education regarding the proper care and treatment of animals at both public and private levels, thereby advancing the humane treatment of animals everywhere.
