My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Everyone please welcome our sweet senior boy Sammie! Sammie is a 13 year old Lhasa/Shih tzu mix sweetheart weighing 17 lbs. This little guy had no chance of being adopted at the local shelter given his age and condition and so we decided to take him into our Rescue and provide him with his BEST years. Sammie is both vision and hearing impaired but with that said, he will search you out to always be near you - he is truly a faithful and loyal companion who just wants to be near his human. He L.O.V.E.S. attention and has excellent house manners ---and he gets along great with everyone . Sammie is a gentle soul who deserves a loving home all his own...perhaps that's yours? If interested in adopting Sammie please fill out an application at www.floridacockerrescue.org ADOPTION FEE: $200.00

More about this rescue

Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue (FCCR) is a non-profit organization located in SW Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Cocker Spaniels throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. We rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help us take care of our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies, heartworm tested, flea and heartworm treatment, and microchip.

FCCR carefully screens all of our potential furever and foster homes to ensure that our pups will have safe and loving homes. Some of our dogs come from shelters and abusive situations and we want to make sure that they will only see love the rest of their lives.
