Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi everyone, my name is Peanut, and I was recently taken into the rescue when a family who had been caring for me for quite some time were no longer able to. It was not their fault as they were only supposed to be doing so for a short time. You see I was originally a classroom pet, and the teacher was going to give me a home but needed someone to watch me for a bit of time. Well, that bit of time became a long time and then the teacher disappeared. The temporary home turned into a forever home but they were unable to keep me so I found my way to the rescue.
I am a cute little nugget of a guy which is how I got my name Peanut. I have been neutered and vaccinated against RHDV2 and have wonderful use of my litterbox. I weigh less than 2 lbs and I am full grown. I am about 2-3 years of age. I am a friendly bun who is quite curious and enjoys gentle petting and attentiion.
I am eating a proper diet of timothy pellets, lots of timothy hay and of course a fresh bowl of water daily. I do love my daily salad of items like romaine, bok choy and parsley. Plus my weekly treats like banana, carrot and apples.
I may be a good bonding candidate for any spayed females searching for a friend.
Would you consider adopting a small cute boy like me?
