My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Chase is in a foster home and not at the kennel**

Sup! I’m Chase!

I’m some kind of Sheperd/Plott Hound with maybe some Doberman in there too. I’m 2 years old and weigh about 80 Lbs. I am a little bit of everything wrapped into one. I have the brains, the brawn, and I love making buddies(human and animals). I mean seriously what more could you possibly want in a partner in life?

I’m always working on my “fitness”. You can watch me “fit-this” entire bowl of food in my face in about 5 seconds flat! Mmm! Ok ok I do like to pump some iron in between meal time too. Call me the CrossFit Canine!

But hey, don't let my rough and tough exterior fool you. I'm as gentle and as friendly as can be. I just will let out a good bark when we first meet. It may seem intimidating but realistically I’m just making sure you noticed that I’m standing here. Bring me a treat and we can move past all these awkward introductions and work on our friendship.

I have enjoyed the company of the dogs and cats that I have met. All we need to do is meet up so we can form our own pack. I’d love some furry companions to live with.

I don’t mind a good stroll around the neighborhood but I really enjoy a good romp in the yard. A fenced in yard would be phenomenal for me.

Car rides are a blast for me. My foster dad takes me with him often on job sites. He’s usually jamming to county songs while he drives. I’m a little indifferent so I we can listen to whatever you want. I wonder what kind of music that will be?

I’m extremely intelligent! I know plenty of commands. I think I am ready to start learning some tricks like you see the movie dogs do. I bet you I’d have those tricks down pat in no time at all. So, if you're looking for a playful, smart, and gentle buddy, then look no further. I promise to fill your life with laughter and love.

I am looking for a home with some dog experience in which everyone is over 13 years old and older. I’m a lot of dog and need a bigger person to understand my puppy playful antics.

If you are interested in adopting me and are at least 21 years old, please fill out an application at k9stray.com and my foster dad will be in touch.

I hope to meet you soon!

~Chase
