My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Majesty is an approximately 4- 6 year old, 57 lb good boy who is looking for a home. You might remember Majesty's story. His owner paid to continuously board him at Puppy Pitstop while in between housing. After two months, she was no longer able to pay and relinquished him to Puppy Pitstop, who called us. Being left in boarding was hard on Majesty, and he now has separation anxiety, which isn't a good match for Majesty's current owners, who work long hours.

The cuts on Majesty's face are from him harming himself in a crate while his owner are away. They currently do not crate him while they are gone to protect him, but he is destructive at the door. Yes, we are aware an impact crate is an option, but Majesty would truly be happiest in a home where he is not left alone.
Majesty is a wonderful dog. He wants to be your shadow. He was not neutered while at Puppy Pitstop, so he was not part of daycare but did have short, controlled play sessions with other dogs. A meet and greet with any potential dogs would be necessary, as we just don't know enough about him with other dogs to say one way or the other.

Majesty is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, on heartworm prevention, and microchipped.

Additional adoption info

All of our dogs and cats are fully vetted prior to adoption - spayed/neutered, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, vaccinated and tested for heartworm (dogs) or FIV/FeLV (cats).

To adopt an animal from us, you will be required to complete an adoption application. When your completed application is returned to us, we will conduct a criminal background check, verify home ownership or landlord permission, check with any veterinary references and conduct a home check. Then pay adoption fee.

Please note that our adoption contract for cats has a NO DECLAW clause.

Go meet their pets

We do not have a shelter. All of our animals are in foster homes. Please call us to make an appointment to meet one of our adoptable animals.

More about this rescue

We are a small non-profit rescue focused on the 4.77 square mile town of Speedway, Indiana, home of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Our goal is to make Speedway a no-kill town where every animal is spayed/neutered, microchipped and properly cared for. We rescue all animals taken to the town's Animal Control facility. We assist owners in need with veterinary care and food/supplies. We help trap-neuter-release feral cat colonies and socialize/adopt kittens under 3 months old.

Due to limited resources, we are unable to accept animals from outside the town's boundaries at this time.
