Meet Mickie! This sweet gal came to Animal Friends as an owner surrender for not having enough time to give to her. Mickie is a sweet girl once she knows you and is comfortable but can be very shy/nervous in her kennel. Mickie is looking for a home with children at least 13 years and older so they can understand and respect her body language. Mickie is also looking for a home with no other pets as she would like to be the only pet in the home! If interested in helping this sweet lady shine in your home.
Mickie is also a part of our Rosie's Rule program. Animal Friends has teamed up with Fi Smart Dog Collar to provide GPS-enabled dog collars for Animal Friends' canine residents who may be at an increased risk of becoming separated from their handler. Once outfitted with a Fi Collar, Rosie's Rule dogs will keep their collar through adoption along with a one-year subscription to the Fi App - at no cost to their new family.
Mickie is one of our Extra Loved residents. Although all of our resident animals get plenty of love, many of them come from backgrounds where they may need a little extra care, extra attention, and extra patience. To help Mickie find her adoptive home, a generous donor has sponsored her adoption donation to help her feel extra loved!
