My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boyd (about one and a half years old as of March, 2024) is a neutered male black shorthaired cat. Boyd was caught as a tiny kitten in 2022 as part of a big trap neuter return project in Winthrop Harbor. He was raised in foster care with another older Winthrop Harbor kitten, Landon, and the two were adopted together and spent over a year in what we hoped was their forever home until his adopter had to move and her new place wouldn't allow her to keep them. They've returned to us and are back on the market. Boyd is handling this big change pretty well, in his foster home he has already adapted pretty well and is happy to greet his humans and seek out attention whenever they come to visit him. He LOVES being petted and rubbed all over his big panther body- even belly rubs! He gets along well with other cats and would be happiest if he could be adopted with his lifelong best friend Landon. He had some dog experience as a kitten but would probably do best with a very calm, very cat experienced dog. He should be good with most older kids, too.
