My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cecil, the adorable Labrador mix with a heart of gold and a playful spirit! At 39 lbs, I'm still growing and bound to fill your life with even more love and joy.

I've mastered the art of the doggie door, hitting success about 99% of the time! At night, I cozy up in my wire pen with a comfy doggie bed in my foster's bedroom. It's my safe haven, ensuring I don't get into mischief while everyone sleeps soundly.

Meeting new people used to make me a little shy, but with each passing day, I'm blossoming into a social butterfly thanks to all the wonderful friends I'm making.

I have a heart full of love for every dog I meet, and I dream of having a furry sibling to show me the ropes and teach me how to be an even better boy. I must have a home with a yard and daily walks to get my puppy energy out!

Give me a chew toy, and I'll be one happy pup! I especially love the tough ones, but beware, I can make short work of stuffed toys. Keeping an eye on me is a must—I'm still mastering the art of good behavior!

While I haven't dipped my paws in the swimming pool yet, I have a feeling I'll be a natural swimmer. I can't resist playing with water from the hose, pool, or beach.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

At Valley Dogs we make every effort to place the right animal in the right home. To aid in this goal, we use trained Adoption Consultants to help you select the best match for your lifestyle. You will meet with an Adoption Consultant and discuss your lifestyle, activity level, expectations, likes/dislikes, and past experiences with animals. Your consultant will then recommend the best match for your family and your lifestyle.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We do not own a kennel / shelter type facility. In most cases, we believe one of the effective and successful ways to match families and pets is to foster them in our own homes. Fostering dogs allows us to help train the dogs to have good doggie manners and allows us to learn about the dog's personality and character. Ultimately allowing us to give potential adopters complete information on the pet's behavior and how well he / she will fit with a family and lifestyle. Unfortunately, when we are not able to find the most appropriate foster home, we will on occasion utilize a private kennel on a case by case basis.
