Luca is a sweet and smart medium sized Heeler mix, just 6 months
old and 35 lbs. He is energetic, loves to play fetch and frisbee, go for long
walks and just be a puppy, and is delighted to come back inside for
snuggles and belly rubs.
He is living with my 4 year old M/N Cattle Dog and gets along well.
He would live happily with another friendly dog but would be fine as a
single.
He does get excited about cats and will chase them, and he may
be a little too exuberant for small children.
Luca’s ideal home will have a fenced yard and loving people
committed to making him all he can be. He is neutered, microchipped, up
to date on all vaccines, dewormed, heartworm negative and is on all
appropriate preventives. Potty training is going very well on a schedule,
and he is good in a crate.
He loves his chew toys and needs relatively
indestructible ones.
In the short time he’s been here he has learned ‘sit’, ‘kennel up’, to
wait before exiting his crate, and we are working on leash manners and
some tricks. He has a good mind, enjoys training, and is a quick learner.
He’s just a delightful little guy and would be a wonderful addition to the right household.
