My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mimi, a declawed Maine Coon mix, born in 2018. She came to Saving Hope when her elderly owner could no longer care for her. The chaos of leaving the only home she had ever known triggered a past issue with stress-induced bladder stones that caused a blockage. She had surgery to remove them, and now this beautiful girl is ready for her forever home.

Mimi is a super sweet, smart, playful girl with gorgeous looks to match her stellar personality. She loves being brushed, which is needed to maintain her luscious long coat and prevent hairballs. Mimi enjoys chasing toys and is a catnip lover. She is initially cautious in new places but warms up within a couple days. Mimi is a quiet girl with a very tiny meow. She is very serious about being petted and will gently paw your arm and meow if you stop! Mimi has never lived with another animal before and is sensitive to loud noises, so she would do best as an only pet with older children. She eats prescription urinary food to keep her healthy. Although Mimi needs daily brushing and special food, she is easy to please and just wants a couch to lounge on and a person to love that loves her too. She is vetted and has excellent litterbox manners. She would like to be an only pet.

Saving Hope supports all kitties keeping their claws. Mimi was surrendered to us declawed.
