My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WARREN COUNTY, NY: Adopt this gorgeous lab mix puppy and add some MAGIC to your life!

Magic is a 5 month old lab mix puppy who weighs 49 lbs. Enthusiastic Magic is just adorable as he leaps into arms and plays with every toy he can find! Puppies are usually magical but Magic is extraordinarily so! Unfortunately, this little boy was all alone, found abandoned in a crate in the basement of a building in NYC before being brought to the city shelter. Who could leave a defenseless puppy like that? Without a strong immune system, poor Magic quickly developed pneumonia and ended up on the emergency placement list for medical reasons. A wonderful foster stepped up to save Magic and he is receiving treatment - and lots of love! - in his foster home. But this puppy deserves a home of his own and is now ready to find his forever family!

Magic is so sweet, super friendly, and highly social; his spirits remain high and happy through all he has been through. He loves everyone he meets - and everyone loves him too! He absolutely appreciates all attention and is already such a great snuggler! He really is such a good boy and even loves bath time - check out his pics to see how cute he is in the bath! Like all puppies, he needs to be taught how to be a dog but his cuteness and devotion are certainly worth it.

Magic is a handsome and happy pup, bursting with playful joy that spreads smiles wherever he goes. Can you let Magic make you smile every day? If you can open your heart and home to this paw-some puppy, please contact AmsterDog at 917-689-8414 or by e-mail at info@amsterdog.org. Apply to adopt (or foster-to-adopt) Magic at AmsterDog.org.

Thanks for caring about a puppy in need!

Go meet their pets

AmsterDog Rescue does not have its own facility. Instead, we rely on fosters to care for our beloved animals. Our available animals may change depending on your location and we do transport animals for adoptions within a reasonable distance. Since you will possibly be speaking with and meeting a foster directly, an application must be filled out prior to meet and greets.

For adoption inquiries, please contact AmsterDog Rescue at 917-689-8414 or info@amsterdog.org. To get the process started, please fill out our online application at www.amsterdog.org/application.
