Roxy (aka Roxanne) is a beautiful 9-year old (or perhaps a bit older) female Greyhound mix who was surrendered by her family on April 7, 2024 because they were no longer able to take care of her.
Roxy has a gray-and-beige short smooth coat in a brindle pattern, a long tail, and a precious face with soft innocent dark brown eyes, a frosty white/cream mask, a charcoal gray nose on her slender muzzle, and short semi-erect ears.
This older lady appeared to have a sweet, gentle disposition when HSOV Kennel Tech Madison Lee helped her with glamour photos on April 9th. Roxy defies the chronological age on her kennel card and was full of energy when she sprinted around Madison in several of her pictures.
We noticed that Roxy may have a few of the ailments which come with the privilege of age since her hearing seemed to be impaired and she definitely needs some dental work, but she was clearly enjoying life and the loving attention which she received while she was with Madison and our photographer.
Her owner told us that Roxanne was good with children, and that she was also with other animals but didn't specify if that included cats as well as dogs. Roxy has been kept indoors and is housetrained.
Roxy weighs 55.2 lbs and walks fairly well on leash.
Roxy has already been spayed, so she would be available to adopt, foster, or foster-to-adopt with an approved HSOV adoption/foster application.
