My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there, I'm Chikilin! Life in the shelter is fun, but I'm ready for my next big adventure. I'm young, full of energy and I love to play. I'm also super friendly, so I make friends easily. I love playing with toys, chasing laser pointers, and my absolute favorite is curling up in a warm lap after a long day of play. I've got a sweet and loving personality that's sure to win you over. I'm looking for a forever home where I can share my love and energy. Adopt me, and let's create beautiful memories together.

More about this rescue

Established in 1982, We Care Animal Rescue is a no-kill sanctuary and shelter for homeless animals in the heart of Napa Valley. Our residents live and roam freely in communal spaces with safe access to the outdoors.

Our staff ensures animals receive daily socialization, enrichment activities, and veterinary care — particularly the elderly and those with special needs. We provide a forever home for all our animals, either through adoption to the public or with us in our sanctuary.
