My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NEW YORK CITY: Who ordered the spaghetti? Because have we got a meatball for you - young AXL ROSE is ready to be the star entree of your life!

At 3 years old and 60 lbs, this gorgeous boy sure knows how to pose for the paparazzi. The camera loves Axl Rose - and so do all who meet him on a walk! Being a city dog, Axl Rose saunters the streets with his big goofy smile, shiny blond coat and muscular physique. His smile is not only photogenic, but contagious as passersby yell a friendly cat-call (dog-call?) of "Nice dog!".

A kind celebrity, Axl Rose is all about his fans and bonds very deeply with his people. You can literally feel your heart melt as you get lost in his adoring gaze. As long as he is by your side, he is happy and content to chew his bones or play independently (and adorably!) with a ball. Axl Rose is ready for any adventure with you; He loves walking, hiking, running, and playing outdoors.

Axl Rose is available to adopt, foster, or foster-to-adopt. He would definitely prefer an adopter or foster who can spend a lot of time with him, but that time will surely be magical: Axl Rose has such a great personality and so much love to give! He is affectionate, and loves to cuddle up with you - one of those dogs that just oozes love and melts into your hands, comforting you with their warmth and loyalty.

Axl Rose has been patiently waiting for someone to give him a chance. He has been working on himself and wants to show off what a good dog he is! If you would like to get to know this handsome and playful pup, please contact AmsterDog at (917) 689 - 8414 or fill out our online application at Amsterdog.org.

Go meet their pets

AmsterDog Rescue does not have its own facility. Instead, we rely on fosters to care for our beloved animals. Our available animals may change depending on your location and we do transport animals for adoptions within a reasonable distance. Since you will possibly be speaking with and meeting a foster directly, an application must be filled out prior to meet and greets.

For adoption inquiries, please contact AmsterDog Rescue at 917-689-8414 or info@amsterdog.org. To get the process started, please fill out our online application at www.amsterdog.org/application.
