Imagine waking up to the sound of birds chirping, the sun peeking through the
curtains, and Sylvie eagerly nudging you to join her for a morning yoga session. Yes, you heard that right - Sylvie is not your average pup. This 1 ½ year old sweetheart starts her day with a few sun salutations to loosen up her hips and rear leg.

Before coming to All Dog Rescue, Sylvie had multiple breaks to her pelvis and one of her hips due to an accident while she was a stray. Her injuries have healed, but not properly; however, surgery is not recommended at this time. Even though she has stiffness in her hips and legs, she does not have mobility issues and is an active and happy girl living her best life. Sylvie may have arthritis and other issues as she ages but is currently taking glucosamine chews to help and working with the vet on possible additions to help with pain and stiffness.

Staying active is something she enjoys and will be important for her to continue to do, but high-intensity things like running, hiking, and dog park trips are not for her due to her past injuries. She loves going on a daily walk and does great on 45-minute walks throughout the neighborhood. She is looking forward to continuing to hone her leash manners too!

In her search for her forever home, 40-pound Sylvie dreams of a fenced yard to call her own and days filled with lots of snuggles. She's great with other calm dogs and loves making new friends wherever she goes. And while she hasn't met any kids yet, we're confident she'll charm them with her gentle nature and affectionate spirit. Rabbits and squirrels? Well, that's another story. Because she gets a little too enthusiastic about chasing them right out of the yard, we are thinking she would do best in a home without a cat.

So, if you're ready to open your heart and home to one of the sweetest souls around, don't wait another minute. Apply for Sylvie today and get ready for a lifetime of snuggles, kisses, and unconditional love.

More about this rescue

All Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer, foster home based rescue organization. We do not have a shelter and do not have any paid staff. Our dogs live in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their new forever homes. We offer a lifetime commitment to the dogs in our program. All of our dogs receive comprehensive vet work prior to adoption, including exam, vaccinations, microchip, HW/Lyme's test, fecal exam, and all are spayed and/or neutered. We do it because we love dogs, and with 4 million animals being euthanized every year in shelters around the country, the numbers of dogs needing our help is endless.
