Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sherbet
Short Hair Orange Tabby Spayed Female
Estimated Birthdate: 4/9/2020
Meet Sherbet! She is as sweet as her name implies. Sherbet, or "Bertie" as her foster mom calls her - was rescued off the streets by a local caregiver, only to have 4 beautiful kittens in her garage the next night! Bertie must've been someone's pet in the past as she enjoys the company of people, and loves being petted. Whatever her journey to get here, she has raised her litter well and now deserves a loving forever home of her own. She is talkative, loves her food and treats, and is quite outgoing. It may take her a little time to adjust to a new home, but once she feels comfortable - she is the queen of the castle! She may not be a lap cat, but loves to be around her humans and doesn't mind being picked up. She enjoys being brushed and a good 'scritch on her head and tush! Her coat is not in the best shape currently, but the vet believes once she is in a stress free environment, it will ease her over grooming. Sherbert will do well in a home with only adults, or a family with cat-savvy kids over 10 years old. We think she would do well with other cats with patient introductions, or to be the only kitty soaking up all the attention! We have not seen her with dogs, so slow introductions would be needed.
Sherbert is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and treated for parasites. Her adoption fee is $125. Do you have room in your heart for this retired ginger mama? She can't wait to meet you!
