Hi there, my name is Lyric, and I am a pretty Norfolk Terrier mix with soft golden locks of low shed fur, I’m 4 years old, weigh 10 lbs and I was found running down a street in San Antonio, already pregnant and hoping to find a safe place to have a family. As luck would have it, I was picked up by 4 Little Paws Rescue and had 8 beautiful babies on January 18, 2024. Not to brag, but I was an amazing mama, loving and gentle, and now that my duties are over, I've been spayed and vaccinated, and all fixed up and ready to find a life of my own, somewhere in or near Connecticut. Yep, I’m leaving Texas behind and I couldn't be happier about it.
My foster mom says I am a friendly girl with a very nice personality. I am friendly and sociable with people and other dogs and would be thrilled to have a built-in doggy friend to play with since I’m an expert playmate, having fun with my doggy friends running and wrestling and playing with dog toys. I love the outdoors, chasing squirrels, and securing the yard from any pesky intruders. I’m also very affectionate, loving to share cuddles and kisses with my family. I am working on housebreaking and walking with a leash and doing well. The next rescue dog transport leaves Texas next week and I’m looking forward to meeting whoever adopts me!
