A total sweetheart looking for a fresh start!
Hi, friends! My name is Pris, and I’m a 1-year-old, 35-pound Husky mix female. I was rescued out of ESLR in Mexico, and, needless to say, I’m ready to put that experience behind me and live life to the fullest in my furever home!
I am a proud distemper survivor and am still in the healing process and regaining mobility in my front legs. However, I’m getting stronger each day and am inching closer to a full recovery. I am potty-trained and do well on a leash. Crates and I do not mix, however, since I have confinement anxiety. In other words, please do not put me in one! I do just fine when left on my own and have no destructive tendencies. I’ve also already been spayed (even though I have already had a litter of puppies of my own!)
My favorite activities include hanging out with my people, taking short walks outside, and visiting new places, like breweries and restaurants. I love making new friends in doggie and human form, too.
Even though I’m not super-mobile at the moment, I think I would enjoy being in an active home. I would also love to have some doggie siblings and human kiddos to call my own. Laidback and mellow kitties are welcome, too. Other than that, I have so much love to give, so I’d thrive in any home where I would get lots of pets and time to heal into my best self!
My adoption fee is $250 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/.
