Java Monster is a handsome one-year old male kitty who was surrendered by his family on April 2, 2024 along with his brother (Salted Caramel) because they didn't have room to take care of the boys.
Java Monster has a white-and-orange tabby short smooth coat, a long ringed tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, an orange tabby mask, a pink nose, and long white whiskers.
This little playboy has a sweet disposition and a playful, outgoing personality. Java Monster was snoozing peacefully and taking a cat nap while his brother Salted Caramel was posing for his photo session on April 6th. After we snapped a few cat nap pictures, Java was energized after his 'power nap' and posed for 'action shots' which kept the photographer on her toes since Java was determined to sprint out of the boys' top cage for some added excitement.
Java Monster was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on April 3, 2024. He weighed 10.3 lbs that day and is the larger of the siblings.
Java Monster and his brother Salted Caramel are nearly identical twins, but there are a few subtle differences when you see them side-by-side (thank goodness). Java has more white on his face, and he has a small patch of orange tabby on his left front leg. Brother Salted's left front leg is entirely white.
Their family told us that Java and Caramel are very friendly (and we agree 100% with that statement). They are good with other cats (as well as dogs) and also with children.
These boys have never been separated since birth, and they have been kept together in a double-wide cage since entering our shelter. We have listed them as a Bonded Pair since we feel that it is in their best interest to be adopted together.
Java Monster (and Salted Caramel) will be neutered in the near future and will soon be ready to find a fabulous home either through adoption or rescue.

Shelter management reviews applications for approval. If approved, potential adopters will be notified.

Take the Pet Home
All HSOV dogs and cats must be spayed/neutered before being adopted and going to their new home.

Our adoption process includes an adoption application which must be completed and approved by our shelter management. We verify veterinarian references and also approval from landlords if the pet will be housed in rental property. Home visits may also be required prior to adoption. All dogs/cats must be spayed/neutered before being adopted.
Adoption fee for dogs is $150.00 which includes vaccinations, wormer, flea treatment, dog tag, microchip, and spay/neuter.
Adoption fee for cats is $40 and includes vaccinations, wormer, flea treatment, and spay/neuter. Most adult cats (and kittens over 3-months of age) have already been spayed/neutered.
Adoption fees for other species varies.
