My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Willow is a brown tabby with lots of white markings, especially on her face. Though she is technically no longer a kitten, she is energetic and playful. She's a very curious kitty, always investigating her surroundings and interested in what is going on. Willow is an import from one of our partner shelters in rural Kentucky. She is a real sweetheart, loving and a delight to have around. She could be a lovely companion cat for a single person, or a lively, frisky member of an active family.

All of our dogs, cats, rabbits & ferrets are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Small animals are usually not altered. We have adoption applications, a short interview process, and an adoption fee for each animal. All animals (except rabbits & small animals) are up to date on all shots.

We hold adoption events on Saturdays at Petsmart in Mishawaka from 11-3. We also hold other events throughout the year. Heartland Small Animal Rescue is a non-profit serving South Bend & surrounding cities. We are comprised of a group of dedicated volunteers who work to find loving homes for homeless pets in our area.

Company Overview
Heartland Small Animal Rescue Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving South Bend, IN and surrounding towns by taking in homeless pets and adopting them out into loving homes. We also work closely with local shelters to reduce euthanasia rates by pulling animals and putting them in our program.
