Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Leo is an absolutely irresistible, tiger-striped, wire haired, cute! He has a fun, mischievous, playful spirit. When his foster mom isn’t watching he thinks it’s fun to relocate her shoes around the house. Leo is only about 1-2 years old and he’s very affectionate and dog friendly. He also seems to be house and crate trained. Leo joined MHCR as a transfer from a high intake shelter in New Mexico where he was picked up as a stray.

Leo is in foster in Denver, Colorado.

*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. *

Mile High Canine Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3, Colorado non-profit organization established in 2019. We are 100% volunteer run and foster home based. MHCR aims to provide abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs a loving home to grow and learn in until a suitable forever home is found. While in foster care, our dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested/treated, microchipped, and vaccinated. We rescue dogs from Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.
