My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tar is a male pug born 3/2022. He is neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines including rabies & microchipped. He weighs around 16lbs.

Tar is a happy man who is very excited most of the time! He gets along with other dogs of all sizes, cats & all sized humans. He is crate trained. He is still working on potty training. He is playful with toys & other dogs. He will need continued leash/harness training. He would love a spot in your bed at night & your undivided love & attention!

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
