My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gatsby is a male chihuahua mix born 10/2022. He is neutered, UTD on his vaccines including rabies & microchipped. He weighs around 15lbs.

Gatsby has the most UNIQUE colored eyes! He is a submissive, observant boy with a relaxed demeanor. He does love to play with toys & other dogs. He is definitely a follower & gains more confidence with each passing day. He loves to snuggle in a soft blanket or bed. He enjoys the comfort of an open crate. He is working on his potty training & has picked up on a daily routine quickly. He needs to go to a home with a secured, attached yard. He gets along with other dogs, all sized humans & we can only assume cats with a proper introduction. He would love a home with another 4-legged friend to show him the ropes!

Please complete an adoption application & you will be contacted within 48hrs if your application fits his current needs: https://www.cognitoforms.com/pathwaysforpaws/adoptionapplicationform

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
