Chico is a fun-loving, snuggle bug who loves his walks and a nice warm blanket. He finds his person and will stay loyal to them forever. He’s a little shy at first around other pets but slowly warms up. He’s also an old soul and will find his person to connect with! Chico just needs love and affection and he will be your best pal!

Chico is around other small dogs in his foster home but prefers the company of humans. He is looking for a home where there are no children under 10 years old.

$200 (including tax) adoption fee includes core vaccinations, rabies vaccination, heart worm test (in dogs over 6 months of age), microchip and registration, spay/neuter, wormer and flea and heart worm prevention while the dog is in our care. All breed and size categorizations are estimates.

If transporting out of state, the total adoption fee cost will be $500. This amount is inclusive of adoption fee, transport fee, health certificate, and taxes

$200 (including tax) adoption fee for dogs includes spay/neuter surgery, rabies and other vaccinations, heart worm test, microchip, deworming, and heartworm and flea preventatives while the dog is in our care.

$85 for cats includes spay/neuter surgery, rabies and other vaccinations, deworming and flea prevention while the animal is on our care and FeLuk / FIV test.

Almost Home Pet Rescue is a private rescue headquartered near Katy (in the southwestern suburbs of Houston). We work closely with other rescues as well as the Animal Control Departments of various municipalities in the Houston area to place dogs in loving, permanent homes. Our pets live with foster families, so we know them well enough to make a good match between people and pets. Our adoption fee ($200 inc. tax) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchip and heartworm test for dogs over 8 months of age.
