My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Lenny, a lovable, larger-than-life pup with a heart full of love! Lenny's journey brought him to us when his previous family couldn't keep up with his needs, leading to a few indoor accidents. But let's remember, it's not his fault; sometimes, nature calls at the most inconvenient times.

Lenny is a big, 7-year-old guy with a whole lot of love to give. While he's not quite a senior, he does have some mature qualities that make him a charming companion. He would consider himself a couch potato and would be very content to curl up next to you on the couch all day long. He's a bit on the hefty side, but with the right care, we're confident he'll soon have that spring in his step again. We've also noticed a lazy gait when he walks, which is something to keep an eye on, but for now he is able to use all four legs and is enjoying his exercise routine.

Lenny is simply thrilled at the prospect of finding his forever home. His enthusiasm for life is infectious, and he's ready to share his sunny disposition with a loving family. To ensure his comfort and happiness, we're hoping to match him with a family experienced in caring for senior dogs. Lenny is good with other dogs but would also be happy as the only pup in his future home.

If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate companion to bring joy and laughter into your life, Lenny may be just the boy you've been searching for. Please inquire today!

More about this rescue

Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities. If you would like to make a donation, find out about the next event, become a volunteer, foster, or adopt your own rescue pug, you are in the right place! You can also follow us on Facebook and twitter, there is always something going on and new pugs needing your help.
