Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hola friends, My name is Paco, and I was living at a dog rescue in Jalisco Mexico patiently waiting to be adopted. But fate had a different plan for me… instead, 4 Little Paws Rescue brought me to America along with 30 other rescue dogs to help us find forever homes. So here I am. Currently in San Antonio Texas with my new foster family while I wait for transport to Connecticut.
I am a little 7-year-old Terrier/Poodle mix with a little underbite and very soft fine hair. I weigh 11 lbs and my past with humans has not been ideal. It's left me shy and submissive around people, desperate for love, but not sure how to ask for it. My foster mom can pick me up once I’ve backed myself into a corner and once she does we will sit on the couch so she can pet me, and softly speak to me and I love it. I am great with other dogs and would do best with a doggy friend to help me build some confidence and learn the ropes of normal dog life and that humans are not scary. I am well-behaved and extremely quiet, like having a little mouse in the house, I am unassuming and currently a little wallflower beginning to blossom, just a bit of time and gentle patience should do the trick. Already I'm standing and dancing for a doggy treat and my little tail wags like crazy. In the meantime, I am having fun playing with the resident dogs, eating well, and sleeping in my cozy dog bed like a little angel. I am ready for the last leg of this big adventure, rode in on a bus, and will be riding out in a Mercedes transport van when I leave for Connecticut this week to meet whoever adopts me!
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.
