My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our loving endearing 10mo old, Duncan Kaneaux (Aka NuNu)!
The more time spent with this sweet boy, the more we learn.
Wronged by humans at every turn... we say NO MORE!

Our precious boy was originally abandoned as a 10 week old puppy, and picked up by a family with 4 boys. He thought he found his forever home! They took him for his check up and 1st vaccines, brought him home and spoiled him. Then, as puppies will do, he grew. The holidays came. The newness of a precious cuddly yellow labby puppy had worn off, and they tossed him outdoors in the backyard to be lonely, discarded- and to raise himself.
He didn’t know what to do. Sad and bored, looking at the yard and peering thru windows, not understanding what was going on.

Then one day he thought things were looking up. Dad took him for a ride back to the vet. He met a nice lady who welcomed him … did some tests (got the "all clear"), gave some vaccines and a surgical procedure (neuter).
The nice lady that welcomed him told him he was going home for the night with her, but would see his dad and boys the next day (they were busy with soccer games and couldn't pick him up). The next day came, and the nice lady walked me- but something seemed different. She then told me I wasn't going home.
My dad ignored her calls and messages, and FINALLY messaged her back and said they were moving that day and weren't able to take me with them. ?
I was confused... jumpy… nervous… but still trying to be a good boy- even with with my broken heart.
My heart still isn't healed, but the nice lady hugs me and tells me it will be OK. Sometimes I wag my tail to try to help her as I know she is sad for me. It's getting better. I'd never played with another canine and found it's quite fun! The nice lady is here for comfort- but it's not "home”. She tells me a true home is where I'm treated like real family and a king. She hopes it happens for me, too. I'm ready for my next and hopefully final Adventure in finding My true home.
