My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I have lived with cats.

I have lived with dogs.

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel comfortable

My current foster writes:

Freckles has an unique tortoiseshell coloring with stunning green eyes. She's 8 lbs but looks even tinier, like a mini cat. However, she eats like a champ and doesn't fool around when it comes to treats.

It was written in her original paperwork that she is a loving, friendly cat; and has lived with another cat and dog. Freckles came to be my foster, as she was not doing well in the shelter, and I have left her to decompress for a few weeks in my spare room. She seems to be wondering was why her life has been turned upside down.

On week 3, I heard loud purring and with some encouragement she came tiptoeing toward me very dainty- like and I was able to get these pictures and videos. Freckles wants love but is afraid and still shows fearful behavior. She is a bit spicy and she lets you know when she's had enough with a little slap of her paw. For this reason I don't think she would do well with young kids.

She would benefit greatly with another cat to show her the way and make her feel confident and relaxed. I have not had the opportunity to see her full personality but when I watch her on my ring camera she's running around the room playing soccer with her toys. So I know once she gets comfortable she will be even more adorable than she is now.
